Elijah has been the baby for almost 4 years, a role he embracing with passion. He has been reconsidering this role in light of Hadassah's arrival. He's looking forward to being "a big brother" and often categorizes things based on whether or "big brothers do that".
We're going trunk or treating with friends this evening and the crew is part of the Star Wars cast. Luke and Leia will be photo-ed later. Yoda on the other hand is just waiting for ears.
Here's what happens when you let your 3 year old play video games. Jessica came in for his devotion time Tuesday, where he was waiting by reading a book, and he tells Jessica, "Mama, I'm going to pause this book while we do Gotta have God." So he carefully turns it over still open to save his spot. Who knew you could pause a book?
At Busch Gardens last Friday, there were frequent potty stops between the 3 kids and Jess. Jessica ended up with Elijah after lunch. Two stalls, Jess hurrying to finish to help him because we don't lock the door so she can get in there. There was this undershirt that needed to be tucked in so Elijah got a peek at THE BELLY. He kisses his sister. "She likes that," he announces. Then he rubs the belly, looks up with eyes only he can do and says "You're beautiful, Mama."
