Let it SNOW!

It started snowing Friday, February 5, at 11:30 a.m. It snowed until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. 24" inches later (measured accumulation, not total since the first of the snow melted) and 3 shovel passes later we can enjoyed it. Chris and Jess shovelled 5 inches on Friday followed by moving the most of it Saturday morning while Hadassah slept, what a helper she is! A final pass was necessary to clear the rest that fell and the cars. There is a tunnel out back but no picture yet. There is a 5 x 5' pile off the deck allowing you to jump from the deck railing into snow. The oldest two kids did so, Elijah was lowered, and Chris jumped feet first and got stuck waist deep in snow. It is beautiful, pure, and white. It is the stuff of widowmakers as many branches on the neighbor's pines have succomb without warning, "Crack, Boom!" You could pick up CHUNKS and eat them. Our shovelling pile for the driveway eventually exceeded Chris' height even after we pushed 2' over the neighbor's fence. We stayed warm, dry and kept power the whole time too. God is wonderful.
