"Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us...." Hebrews 12:1

It's track season again and we're off and running. The weather's been the warmest it's been in 4 seasons and we're enjoying it. Elijah took the big spill this year. It's usually Caleb, but he fell running down the strip to the pit. It was bad mostly because all the grown ups knew he was going to fall before he did and it was a terrible slow motion moment. He was down for the rest of practice but only 10 minutes of wailing, sniveling and breathing, all well deserved because it's a rubber track. It was bad but it could've been a lot worse.

An unexpected blessing occur at the end of March: Hadassah fell in love with the park. We enjoy meeting friends as an almost every Wednesday ritual. On March 30 we went to the park for the first time this Spring. Ah to be outside! Haddie took off, walking into the play area by herself and never looking back. She went down the slide all by herself and was very happy. The video here is from 1 week after, silly Mama forgot the camera that first week.

April marked the return to the River. Ah! 80 degrees, sand, shells, water.

Haddie is a busy thing. She likes the slide indoors. She has many baby dolls to take care of (right). This one needed to wear her outfit. We joke that the U.S.S. Haddie leaves a big wake, room by room, with purpose of mass destruction. The random toys in a hamper basket (left)? What? She was putting as many of her things as she could IN Caleb's unattended and empty hamper. Middle she is in potty school with Rebekah reading to her. What a life.

Below left she is desparately trying to get into dinner a la the Bonesteel's from Wing'n'Pizza Shack.

Watch toward the end when Haddie "tells" Elijah to spit the water out.

This is what a school morning looks like.

Haddie moved in this picture, but she's not quite tall enough yet. Here are all of us older ones, one head taller than the other:)
