The First Day Christmas

"On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me a pink pelican for the front yard". Meet the Baums--Tan N Baum, Dan N Baum (middle name Navidad), Jan N Baum and Nan N Baum. Caleb's first lines include, "Dan, you and I need to go finish plantin' the poinsettias in the bathtubs in the front yard."

Yup this is us: flannel and 'possum and bathtubs in the front yard. We must be in Frederick County, Maryland. Did you know our friend SHANE has a bathtub in his front yard? Shane's bathtub is yellow.

2 girl Baums + 2 boy Baums =  _______
Sharing the gospel with PC, Caleb's wearing his mic.

Caleb once again secured the male lead role and the most lines. For the second year in a row it fell to him to deliver the gospel message.

Elijah moved up to the big choir. Rebekah got the plucky comic relief and learned and delivered her lines well. Remember she's off at school this year so putting time into learning them was a discipline for her.

Galilee slept in Pah's arms through the whole show. Haddie fell in love with the "piggy"...the pink light up pig with a scarf and antlers...who she saw on many Wednesday night leading up to the performance.

The is the youngest attendee of the show with the matriarch of the church. Miss Betty will be 91 this month and she can tell you all the Scripture tucked into her heart throughout the years.

"The glory
the beauty
the holy face of perfect love
Messiah
our Savior
born to show the world the heart of God
The first day of Christmas was the day God sent us Jesus. The first day of Christmas, God made a way for us to have eternal life and find our hope in Jesus Christ. This is what out True Love gave to us."

Love it! Shane was totally confused to find his name, too funny. The play looked like a lot of fun. Great job R, C and E! And great job to H and G for their unquestionable cuteness. :D
