The zoo

So we took off for the zoo. 








Everyone had fun especially Haddie
who doesn't remember the National Zoo.
















This is a big leaf!

Everyone had to have a turn.

The statues are always entertaining.

People's reaction to the statue were interesting. Seeing it in it's habitat, even better.

A hedgehog for a hedgehog!

So we're there and this group of grandparent types are going around the invertebrate house with their two little ones receiving VERY good care. Turns out the gentlemen is the DIRECTOR of FONZ. We introduced ourselves, snapped a picture, and thanked him.
