day 7 smoky mountains

 Day 7 took us up into the mountains. We headed to the highest point in the chain--Clingman's Dome.




Macaroni LOVED it. There was a 360 degree curve on it.

What a view!

 Rockefeller donated a look out spot on the TN side. 

 A little bit of home--the AT runs very close to our house.

We're actually leaving in this picture instead of coming in. The weather has been lovely. At 10:04 a.m. it was 62 degrees.
