Here are the ribbons from the meet. Again, Haddie really really really likes her "rainbow ribbon".
Jessica does not have a Pinterest board. However, it comes up often in homeschool searches or on others' Facebooks or blogs or other cyberworld places where her friends live. Trusting that they're pins or other suggestions are good there's no reason to search beyond that for "to try" recipes, books to read or projects. Two greatest recipe hits have been Chicken Tortilla Soup (Chanse Durnil) and Calzones (Jenny Peters). Someone (from church I think) posted this project, for which Rocky is forever grateful.
It's a pet bed made from a sweater. Jess' sweater was already in the scrap box for being threadbare Chris' was on its way. We stuffed them with dead socks and old t-shirts, other scraps, 1 grocery bag (Rocky loves the sound of plastic bag under his paws) and sewed them up. Two beds, materials already owned, 20 minutes each = happy cat.
What our cooking looks like on the weekend...

getting cleared for bacon detail. Congrats, Mini-Man!
