We received two recommendations for this outing. One from the hostess and one from a friend at church. They did not leave us disappointed.
On July 4th we spent the day at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in all red white and blue.
Two squirrels and two Hedgies. Silly critters...it's a Shully thing.
There's always time to stop and smell the flowers.
Almost a hedgehog.
She's not eating it we promise. It's the angle.
The children's garden was beautiful.
The beaver's house and family was a great experience.
They had special activities for the 4th including face painting.
The kids' favorite--a pair of dragon sculptures.
Rebekah being an awesome big sister.
Lunchtime. Order up!
Showing off her face paint.
The indoor gardens included a room full of carnivorous plants.
