We've had a hectic schedule carrying on for the holidays. Elijah has been constantly reminding us that his Thomas birthday candle had not been purchased. Since schooling took us to Frederick on Monday we naturally rolled many trips into. First stop was Party City. Caleb and Rebekah knew where we were but no one knew why. Getting out of the car I explained we needed to pick up Elijah's birthday candle. Elijah who was still struggling to get out of the car gave an rousing "Ooooo" followed by the cutest little expression full of inflection, "I can't believe it!" He carried the candle with him the rest of the day.
Tuesday little friend established his place as the next big friend. At dinner Jessica asked "the big friends" to fix their chairs at the table so they could sit properly. Each did it in their own way and then Elijah climbed down adjusted his and sat back down. Yay, we're all big friends now!
