This sounded like a good plan in November while we were in

Pittsburgh. We'll throw Elijah's party 2 weeks late and Rebekah's party a week early and the Jeromes can be at both over a long holiday weekend. Planning didn't go into effect until the Wednesday of when Elijah's cake was baked. House cleaned, guests welcomed, cake needing to be

decorated. Perhaps you remember the Lightning McQueen cupcake. That wasn't for OUR child. Our 3 year old would need

MORE. Jessica's gift to the children is the cake. Oh, maybe 3 hours later Thomas and two troublesome trucks emerged from a 9 x 13 x 2 sheet cake. Yes, that's food coloring from icing on Jessica's mouth. You have to taste these things. Except we used our butter cream icing for most of it and a jar of it for the details--red and yellow. This was a taste shock to Jessica who just couldn't lick anymore "yucky" not homemade icing.
