A new baby keeps everyone busy. Pictures are being taken, school and work are getting done, but the computer is abandoned. We enjoyed a Garfield lesson for L week. There was a comic strip about Garfield and Jon making lasagna together. We followed a similar recipe. The kids had a good time. Our Bible verse was "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength." Jessica took pictures of family friends for Christmas and there was this tree. So everyone had to sit in the tree. M brought the formal manners luncheon back. Finger foods were served and extremely polite talk was carried out. Caleb INSISTED that Hadassah be dressed up too. Jessica posed for pictures but had to change for lunch. Rebekah kept polite conversation going at the table. Relief filled Elijah's voice when he heard the Bible verse was as simple as "May the Lord bless you." Thanksgiving was fabulous. We went to the Shullenbarger house at 2 and wandered to Jessica's old neighborhood to join the Pieranunzis for a second dinner. Everyone enjoyed themselves at both homes and the kids happily joined the ranks of the 9 grandchildren present bringing the total to 13. We decorated for Christmas over the long weekend taking up 3 days because we needed "more lights...more LIGHTS!" according to Christopher. Oh we went to Pittsburgh the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving for Elijah's best friend Alec's birthday. On the way Elijah got gum stuck on his eye. No clue why or how but it was all stuck in those long lashes! Evan is not chasing the girls in the picture it was just one of those shutter moments that is strange. The girls were leaving to run up the hill. Evan was just repositioning the rake to move some more leaves around. Still it makes you smile. Elijah decided to go with the Daddy hair cut and did his best job ever. Jessica took some more bath time pics to show Hadassah really likes it and gets those curls. She also caught Elijah in Haddie's bath while he was having "water station" for school. He usually wears trunks. We took our Christmas card pictures a little late this year. No idea where the time is going.
