Santa Fe are you there ? Do you swear you won't forget me? If I found you would you let me come and stay?

Yes, obscure Disney musical lyrics sung by Christian Bale in Newsies (It's a Jessica thing).
After seeing the mission builing in Pecos, which is considered a ruin, we drove up to Santa Fe where they have the oldest in use Adobe Mission Structure, San Miguel Church.

Across the alley was the oldest house in the USA.
We were very humbled to drive under
the clouds of smoke produced by wildfires. The smoke was coming from the more mountainous
areas, foresty places. There was a lot of smoke. Where we were it
didn't affect driving visibility.
The Hotel dinners were prepared for the plug-in cooler, made in Branson. It's been Zesty Italian Chicken with twisty pasta and salad, fried chicken with masher taters and salad, soft tacos with the works, and tuna cakes with masher taters (yes, with salad). Dinner is heated in the room
microwave while the kids change into swimgear.
