We left on June 25th for New
Albany, IN. Dear friends allowed us to crash not one night but two nights. We needed
to be in Branson, MO by the 27th. States visited: MD, VA, WV, KY, and IN.
We found cool names of streets and places that we had to take pictures of--YAY for moles and otters!
What does our car look like for this trip? For the first leg we selected this configuration. The kids rotate through entertainment that includes TV episodes on a DVD player (thanks mom and dad), time on a Game Boy color (which the kids sadly think is a DSi), coloring, reading, resting, a educational things.
The 26th allowed us to recover for what would be one of our longest drives and attend church.
West Virginia was very pretty as we traced the state's southern border through mountains. "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,

We were careful to stop and stretch and eat. 
You'd think we'd have these camera settings all figured out. What, Honey, we're passing into IN? Right, let me grab the camera...
