Day 6--Grotto Falls and the Motor Trail, the landscape

Day 6 was THE WATERFALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Macaroni got to the Motor Trail which took us to the trail head for the trail that would take us to Grotto Falls. We got out late. It was crowded when we got there. Chris, the master parker, managed a parallel spot for Macaroni just a bit down from the trail head. Unfortunately it was cosmopolitan hikers day or something and people were not parking in designated parking areas. They were parking everywhere and the road was already one way. We saw one family almost tip their suburban when they pulled off to park on the hilly nonexistent shoulder. The trail was some what crowed but eventually thinned out.

We took people's pictures (Chris almost fell off a ledge backwards [not really but it looked horrible] to get a good shot) and people took ours.

Mama carried Haddie back to the car. "Why not Chris?" you ask. Easy, Chris has been carrying the baby the whole way up too.
These trails are amazingly beautiful. The water tastes cool and refreshing.
