Goonies never say die--July 15

Here's how it happened:
1. Rebecca Wilson recommends Haystack Rock and Cannon Beach as MUST SEEs.
2. Jess tells Chris "we have to go here it's on my list of things I want to see"
3. Driving out of Olympic National Park Chris is struck by the roads, the trees, and the views
so he asks where was "The Goonies" filmed.
4. Turns out we're going into a two-for-one, and we're absolutely giddy plugging in stops on the GPS

Here's the town somewhat north of Cannon Beach
What you're not getting is all the video. Chris basically recited the movie at all the places and entered into a lengthy quoting text spurt with his sister.

A Goonie will know what he is saying.

Perhaps our family Christmas picture

During our stop probably some 20+ people also stopped in. There was always a trickle of people. It was a weekday. It made it the most frequented "off the beaten path" stop we've made so far.
