A day off!

We took the Friday that school was out to go to Busch Gardens. Planning did not cooperate and our schedule accidentally got bogged down. We ended up leaving early Friday morning for the almost 4 hour trek to Williamsburg, always well worth it though. Everyone had a good time. Minki rode all the rollercoasters as did Rebekah and Chris. Haddie rode the clydesdales and flume. Jessica had fun with the photo opportunities. Rebekah and Elijah ogled the stretch hummer. The engineer pumped steam for Elijah's train picture. Caleb rode solo on the big swings for the first time!

The day was slightly overcast. We ate at tables provided in the parking lot for lunch. It got cold and windy but by the time lunch was over things had settled down again.

Haddie fell in love, not with Elmo, but Elmo's nose for any of those who know about her nose fascination. She was very happy.

What would a Busch Gardens run be without stopping at Wendy's? We came home that evening with happy memories and good times.
