Day 7 Grover

Grover is our GPS. Grover Pinco Shullenbarger helps us on our adventures. He was particularly found of the road to no where. Coming out of no where (by the way there's a school in no where and a church in no where) we headed for Deep Creek in the Smoky Mountains. It was unimpressive. Maybe the Sedona of the Smokies, sorry for anyone who likes Sedona. It was also full of inner tubes and tubers (not potatoes but people in the tubes on the river). We were essentially on the other side of the Mountains and needed to come home. Grover had a little trouble getting us there, trying to put us on "sub roads" which were little more than extended driveways. He was unable to get us home and we had to use our driving instincts which got us home super quick and we don't know why he didn't take us home that way in the first place. It made for some interesting roads

and wildlife viewing.

I love peacocks and peahens. I tried to talk Bill into a pair, but they're really, really loud...think Loon and then double it.

Fun adventure. I'm glad your instincts were on since Grover was 'off' :D
