The Meerkat was running back and forth to visit with us.

They had a splash zone. It was good for all ages. 

Even Galilee found a spot to be.

The Giraffe spouts were amazing.

So the little butterfly is there with Haddie. It's not trying to get away. She even kissed it. Upon even closer inspection it was stuck in a spider web. We rescued it.

Meet Leroy. Haddie wasn't too sure about him.

What this picture does not communicate is how bad it's raining outside. It started thundering while we were in the splash zone. It started pouring 15 yards from the exit, through the gift shop (nice gift shop). There's thunder and lightning and the power flickers. Haddie and Rebekah browse. Caleb entertains the baby. Mama tries to keep Elijah from freaking out. He was very scared. Chris went to get the car in the deluge. He brings the car to the front door for us and gets Elijah and the kids in through the automatic side door. He packs the stroller in the trunk and puts the baby in. 6 of us are dry. One of us isn't. Isn't he the best?

Oh, we also stopped in the Lodge Cast Iron store. Jess got a starter set for 45% off. Jess is excited and the family is looking forward to meals from the skillets are dutch oven.
