We took day 9 to hike a local trail again. but first we relaxed with some video games. CM, RE, CG, and EA are all playing.
HA joined JL on the porch swing. we did a lot of swinging.
Rebekah volunteered to help pack G. Here they are ready to GO!
The trail head was 100m up from the parking lot. On the way up we saw Mr. Rattlesnake. Well, Jess did. the brush next to the road was moving like it was raining. Upon "closer" figuratively not literally inspection the lengthy body could be seen. A separate picture by Chris captured the head.

Caleb caught a hitchhiker. She thought he tasted sweet. He also took a turn packing Galilee.
Our relaxation time in the stream came between this doe and the water. She kept checking on us, hoping we were gone.
